Wedding Reception Policies

Rooms, Fees and Times

Receptions are held for five (5) hour intervals: Saturday between 11am - 5pm or 6pm and midnight. Sunday through Friday receptions can be held for any five hours.

Additional time: $250 per hour per room.

Room Rental for The Athenian Room (50 -110): $350

Room Rental for The Grecian Room (120 -180): $500

Room Rental for The Grand Ballroom (200-375): $800

Each room offers a permanent dance floor, private bar and a hospitality room for the wedding party. The Franklin Room (25-45) without a dance floor is $100 to rent.

Deposits and Payments

A $1,000 deposit and signed contract is required to confirm your wedding.

A 2nd minimum deposit of $1,000 will be due six months prior to the event.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation. The balance, including the room fee, must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the function.

The balance must be in the form of cash, money order or cashiers check. We regret that we cannot accept personal checks or credit cards for the final payment.

Guarantees and Minimums

Submit final menu selections no later than 2 months prior to the function.

The Sales office must be notified of a general guest count 14 days prior to the function. An exact number of persons to be in attendance is due 10 days in advance. This number will be considered a guarantee for which you will be charged even if fewer guests attend. Decreases are not allowed after that final count is given. Payment in full is required 7 days prior to the event. If your numbers fall below the minimum that is required, you will be charged the per person rate, based on your menu for each person not in attendance up to the minimum room requirement. We reserve the right to assign another room should your count fall below the contracted minimum guarantee.

Food and Beverages

State licensing restrictions require that The Manor supply all food and beverages. Termination of beverage service to any guest shall be at the discretion of the bartender on duty. “Shots” will not be served. Alcohol sales cannot exceed a 5 hour period. The sale of alcohol will end 30 minutes prior to the end of your event. Guests consuming alcoholic beverages must be of legal MA drinking age and have with them a valid picture identification card. For hosted bars, an estimated bar sales will be requested at the time of final payment. Any additional monies owed are due prior to departure from the function. Any refund will be mailed to you within seven days.

Decorations and Displays

All displays and decorations proposed by the client shall be subject to the Manor’s approval. Confetti and rice are prohibited anywhere in the facility.

Candles must be enclosed in a proper container. Open flames are a fire hazard.

Liability and Security

The Manor cannot take responsibility for loss of, or damage to, articles left in the room prior to, during or following a function. This includes any merchandise or equipment brought by any customer, guest or vendor. Liability for damages to the premises shall be charged accordingly. Any changes made to this contract without the approval of The Manor will result in the contract being null and void.

All food and beverage prices are subject to a 7% sales tax, a 15% service charge and a 3% administrative fee. Prices are subject to change.
